Self employed or Stated income mortgages

I have been a commissioned, self employed, or contract worker my entire life so I know how it feels to be "discriminated" against because you do not make the same amount of money every month or you have just started a business. Stated income mortgages were designed for self-employed, commissioned and contract workers. Basically this means that you certify to the lender that you make a certain amount of money a year and that you can make your payments.
